The Safe Way To Clean and Sanitize Your Drive-Thru Headsets

Cleaning drive-thru headsets is vital to keep them operating smoothly and to protect crew members from diseases. HME Hospotality & Specialty Communications, who makes the finest drive-thru headsets, recommends the following guildelines:

Turn off the headset and remove the battery before cleaning.

Wear gloves and work in an area with proper ventilation.

Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners.

Wipe the surface of the headset with a dry microfiber cloth.

Never spray anything directly onto headsets.

Use alcohol-based disinfectant wipes with a concentration of 50-70% isopropyl alcohol.

Spray the water-isopropyl solution onto a damp microfiber cloth before rubbing the headset.

Use a smooth, steady pressure to protect buttons, keys or surfaces.

Replace any foam parts, such as earpads, when necessary.
