The Simple Way to Keep Your Headsets Clean and Germ-Free

June 24, 2022 ·

Today’s drive-thru headsets excel at providing clear customer-to-order taker communications. Unfortunately they’re also good at collecting dust, food crumbs that can cause them to stop working, as well as germs and bacteria that can compromise employee safety.

Fortunately, cleaning and sanitizing your headsets is a simple process. First, brush away any crumbs caught in tight areas. Then cleanse the surface using a soft towel soaked in a multi-surface disinfectant cleaner (MSDC) that contains peroxide. Finally, clean the earpads with warm soapy water, then spray with the MSDC.

With COVID 19 variants continuing to pop up, play it safe by cleaning and sanitizing every day. Regular cleaning will also extend the life of your headsets and minimize drive-thru part repairs.
