How To Cut Down on Drive-Thru Headset Repairs

August 2, 2021 ·

Headsets are one of the most important drive-thru parts, so it’s important to keep them in good operating condition. Doing so will minimize equipment downtime and reduce repair costs. Here’s how:

  • Clean your headsets every day with a soft cloth and mild household cleanser. Store in a dry place when not in use.

  • Teach proper use of the equipment – the correct way to wear headsets, adjust them for comfort, and adjust the microphone.

  • Handle beltpacs with care – never disconnect the cables and connectors except when troubleshooting a problem.

  • Don’t put off minor repairs – they can quickly turn into major repairs or replacement. A drive-thru parts and equipment management agreement with CE can take the worry out of paying for unexpected repairs.

It’s a good idea to keep a backup headset in place. If you don’t have one, our advance exchange services will ship a temporary replacement headset to you before you send us the one that needs repairs.

If a headset is damaged beyond repair, we sell new and refurbished HME headsets and accessories, as wells as Panasonic and 3M headsets.

All our drive-thru part repairs are 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so when you need a part fixed quickly and correctly, call CE at 877-731-0334.
