I own and operate a very busy QSR with a very busy drive-thru lane. I learned a long time ago to keep a backup drive-thru headset system in reserve in case one goes down during a busy daypart. What I never expected was to have two quit working on me at the same time.
I’ve been using CE for years as my equipment repair vendor, so the first thing I did was give them a call. They told me about their “advance exchange” program, where they ship replacement parts overnight without waiting for me to send in the broken parts for repair. That was just what I needed to hear!
I immediately requested two replacement headsets of the same make and model and they arrived the next day. I don’t know how we would have gotten through the day without them. All I had to do was send CE my broken headsets using the same box they sent the replacements in. I paid a nominal fee for the overnight replacement parts along with the regular cost to fix the broken headsets, and it was worth every penny.
As usual, CE repaired them in a jiffy and sent them back to me right away. Hopefully, I won’t lose two headsets at the same time again. If I do, it’s nice to know I can count on CE’s advance exchange program.
